Andrey Denisenko was born in 1992 in Rostov-on-Don, Russia into a family of musicians. He began playing the piano at a young age and gave his first concert at five. When he was 16, he performed as a soloist with the Symphonic Orchestra. His principal teachers include Sergei Osipenko and Anna Vinnitskaya.

Denisenko also received artistic impulses through master classes with Dmitri Bashkirov, Elisso Wirsaladse, Robert D. Levin, Pavel Gililov, and Konstantin Lifschitz.

Since 2017, the artist has been living in Hamburg. In 2018, Andrey won the third prize at the European Piano Competition Bremen, the first prize at the Elise Meyer Competition and the Steinway Förderpreis Klassik. In 2019, he made his debut at the Great Hall of the Laeiszhalle in Hamburg and also gave recitals in Japan in Tokyo and other cities. In the same year, he won the Grand Prix at the St. Petersburg International Music Festival & Competition “Grand Piano in Palace”.

In January 2022, he received a scholarship from the „Flügel-Fundus“ Foundation. Andrey Denisenko regularly performs in well-known venues, including the Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach Concert Hall in Frankfurt (Oder), the Laeiszhalle, the Elbphilharmonie Hamburg, and the Philharmonie Berlin.
