Bettina Aust and Robert Aust nominated for the German Record Critics' Award

Clarinetist Bettina Aust and pianist Robert Aust have been nominated for the German Record Critics' Prize in the chamber music category with their CD Fin de Siècle.

The Duo Aust featuring siblings Bettina and Robert Aust is one of the world’s leading ensembles for clarinet and piano. Concert recordings presented by all major German radio broadcasters offer testimony of the duo’s more than twenty-year-long collaboration. In 2016 the siblings’ first CD was released to great acclaim on the GENUIN classics label.

The German Record Critics' Award (Preis der deutschen Schallplattenkritik) is an independent association of German-speaking critics. The PdSK is supported by the Federal Government Commissioner for Culture and the Media and by the Gesellschaft zur Verwertung von Leistungsschutzrechten GVL.
The nominations are published in the longlist, the selection of the best of these CDs will be announced on August 16.
We keep our fingers crossed!
