Svetlana Ramazanova

Svetlana Ramazanova was born in 1991 in Novosibirsk, Russia. From 2011 to 2016, she studied baroque violin with Dmitri Sinkovsky and modern violin with Sergey Girschenko at the Moscow Conservatory. Between 2014 and 2016, she was a scholarship holder of the Austria Baroque Akademy and won the ABA competition in Gmunden, Austria.

Between 2018 and 2020, she was a principal violinist with the Moscow Philharmonic State Chamber Orchestra. In 2020 she became a DAAD scholarship holder, and in 2021 she began her master’s studies at the Cologne University of Music. She is currently studying baroque violin with Richard Gwild.

Svetlana Ramazanova plays in baroque ensembles in Europe and Russia, such as La Voce Strumentale, il Pomo d’Oro, B’Rock, il Gardellino, Baltasar Neuman Ensemble, and others. She has performed at such music festivals as the Lucerne Festival, the Ambrone Music Festival, the Schwetzingen Baroque Music Festival, the Stuttgart Baroque Festival, the Lugano Music Festival, the Varna Music Festival, and the Vivarte Chamber Music Festival.
