Patrick Sepec studied cello in Basel and viola da gamba in Weimar. The performance practice of early music forms an integral part of his work. He regularly collaborates with internationally-renowned ensembles, including the Freiburger Barockorchester and Akademie für Alte Musik Berlin, and as a continuo cellist in productions of the Bayerische Staatsoper and Royal Opera House Covent Garden.
