The winners of this year's German Music Competition 2024 have been announced. The Amelio Trio piano trio, founded in 2012 and consisting of Johanna Schubert (violin), Merle Geißler (cello) and Philipp Kirchner (piano), impressed the judges and emerged as the winners.
The Amelio Trio will receive a CD production from GENUIN, which will be released as part of the Edition Primavera. Congratulations to them!
The German Music Competition 2024 took place from March 15 to 23 in the categories flute, oboe, horn, tenor trombone, bass trombone, guitar, piano trio, piano quartet, early music ensemble and composition.
