Release of the first Dolby-Atmos-Single at GENUIN

GENUIN goes Dolby Atmos.

In September, GENUIN will release a Dolby Atmos single for the first time. In cooperation with the horchmal! Studio in Halle (Saale), our sound engineers created the first Dolby Atmos mastering. The song "Täuschung" from Schubert's Winterreise with Tobias Berndt, Heidi and Uwe Steger and the GewandhausChor conducted by Gregor Meyer was chosen as the single. Using the special Corona choir set-up, the incomparable three-dimensional sound was breathed into the track. Due to the so-called corona set-up, which emerged from the pandemic, the singers or vocal groups stand at a great distance from each other, resulting in a completely different room-filling acoustic for the listener.

Dolby Atmos offers a unique and unforgettable listening experience, a feeling of being in the middle of things instead of just being there! GENUIN is planning further releases in the future.
