Amaryllis Quartet gets Juergen Ponto prize in the amount of EUR 60,000

On Tuesday the Amaryllis Quartet officially received the Juergen Ponto prize during the award ceremony at the Commerzbank in Berlin. With the funding of 60,000 euros, the foundation wants to support the young quartet at starting a career as a professional string quartet. The Amaryllis Quartet teaches and performs around the world already, lately Gustav Frielinghaus, Lena Wirth, Lena Eckes and Yves Sandoz were in Central America.
