In addition, he performs as a soloist and chamber musician, and is a visiting lecturer at festivals and universities in Europe and throughout the world.
Brian Dean teaches violin, Baroque violin and period performance practice at the Lucerne School of Music. In the fall of 2009 he founded and now directs the Chamber Academy Basel at the School of Music of the University of Applied Sciences Northwestern Switzerland.
