Concert pianist Mar tin Klet t was born into a family of musicians in Buxtehude in 1987 and received his earliest piano instruction at the age of six . In 2006 he began studying the piano with Prof . Konrad Elser at the Lübeck Musikhochschule . Prior to this he had received numerous national awards, including the national competition “Jugend Musiziert” (several First Prizes), the Karel Kunc Southwest German Chamber Music Competition, the National Bach Competition Köthen and, most recently, the 2009 Steinway Scholarship in Hamburg. He has accepted many invitations from festivals and promoters, among others to appear in concert at the Mecklenburg-Vorpommern and Ludwigsburg Festivals. In 2008 Martin Klett established himself at the international level with a First Prize at the Johannes Brahms Competition in Pörtschach (Austria) . Shortly afterwards he received Second Prize and two special prizes at the International Piano Competition Enschede (Netherlands). For many years Martin Klett has pursued a busy career as a soloist and chamber musician and has performed on tours of Germany, France, Holland, Italy and Croatia. In addition to Sebastian Manz, Martin Klett regularly appears in chamber music recitals with violinist Azadeh Maghsoodi .

As “Duo Riul,” Sebastian Manz and Martin Klett won First Prize at the 2008 German Music Competition and took part in the 53 rd nationwide series of Young Artists Concerts .
